Paella

For some reason, I've been craving rice. At first, I thought I was craving Chinese food because I would need to get a certain dish at my now favorite Chinese restaurant. Now though, I think it's just the rice. Yesterday, for some unknown reason, I really wanted to find a restaurant with paella. No reason. Nothing reminded me of it. It just all of a sudden hit me that paella would be good. Tomorrow, Jeremy and I are off to find us some good Spanish food.

Breakfast for Dinner

That's what we did tonight for our Chinese New Year's Eve celebration. Bacon is slowly but surely growing on me. I wonder why it took so long?

Countdown

It's T minus 60 minutes now before we head out of town! I am exhausted from trying to get everything in the apartment straightened up before we leave. I cannot stand coming home to a messy apartment. However, we decided to stop in Louisville tonight to break up the drive a little. I can't wait to hit the road!

We'll be excited to see friends. Hopefully we'll get to see everybody before we have to leave. We've also made a list of places we want to eat at. Sakura is the highest priority for me. Mmmm....deep fried sushi.

Out to Lunch

I went out to lunch with most of the lab today. We went to a cute little sandwich place that had really good food. I am actually feeling a lot better than when I woke up. No, I wasn't upset by the result of the election and I definitely didn't stay up late to watch the results. I would've stayed up late had I known I was going to feel like crap this morning. Surprisingly, I've been feeling better as the day's worn on, so that's a blessing.
