First Game of the Season

Tonight is the first Tiger basketball game of the season, and it is a bittersweet and exciting. Like Midnight Madness, I will miss being in attendance. However, it is just an exhibition game against Christian Brothers University. They usually play us close in the first half, but the Tigers pull away in the second because of our deeper bench. We haven't figured out all of the logistics for the basketball tickets though. Hopefully someone will take tonight's game and we'll work out the others in the next couple of days.

Since we're just nice people and we're buying the tickets to keep up our donation level, we weren't planning to sell the tickets at face value. If we aren't able to attend the bigger games, we may put those online and see what we get for them. That alone may make up the difference between what our friends pay us and what we paid for the tickets.

We are hoping to make it to the Georgetown game in DC though. That should be fun. It may also be the only game we attend all season unless we make it to the Final Four again. If we do, I think we'll have to make a trip to Detroit.
